Maryland Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (MDVOAD)

Subcommittees:

MDVOAD currently has three subcommittees that discuss coordination concepts and planning ideas.  Please consider joining one (or more) MDVOAD subcommittees and help improve disaster response and recovery planning in Maryland.  These subcommittees are:

•  Membership and Outreach

        Mission: To attract new members to MDVOAD and to help keep current members    active in the group.  In addition, coordinate and conduct outreach initiatives to help elevate awareness of MDVOAD to emergency services organizations around the State of Maryland.  Chair - Mickey Gomez

•  Donations and Volunteer Management/ESF 15

    Mission: To further develop plans and procedures for conducting donations and volunteer management activities in the State of Maryland.  Chair - (Vacant)

•  Long-Term Recovery

    Mission: To develop solutions in addressing unmet needs following large disasters in the State of Maryland.  Chair (Vacant)
