What is MDVOAD?

MDVOAD is an umbrella organization of diverse disaster relief agencies that include faith-based groups, non-profits, governmental departments and agencies, and other non-governmental organizations.  The purpose of MDVOAD is to bring together disaster relief and voluntary organizations  to foster more effective response and recovery to the people of Maryland in times of disaster.  This is accomplished through...

MDVOAD seeks to ensure the availability of needed services and to encourage uniform, impartial provision of these services.  MDVOAD is not an operational entity, its member organizations share information and resources to improve the delivery of disaster relief services to those in need.

Next Meeting: MDVOAD QUARTERLY MEETING - Friday, September 12th starting at 10 AM at United Methodist Church.  Directions and a meeting agenda will be posted on this site as we get closer to the meeting date.
