What is MDVOAD?
MDVOAD is an umbrella
organization of diverse disaster relief agencies that include
faith-based groups, non-profits, governmental departments and agencies,
and other non-governmental organizations. The purpose of MDVOAD is
to bring together disaster relief and voluntary organizations to foster more effective response
and recovery to the

MDVOAD seeks to ensure the availability of needed services and to
encourage uniform, impartial provision of these services. MDVOAD
is not an operational entity, its member organizations share information
and resources to improve the delivery of disaster relief services to
those in need. |
